Rubric opens with pomegranate seeds, mandarin and pink pepper, juicy and tart. The heart is hibiscus, the deep red, slightly sour flower that Nigerians brew into zobo, set against a fresh rose. It dries down to patchouli, cashmere wood and clean musk, so the fruit never turns sugary. It is cheerful in daylight and still holds up at night.
